This policy explains your statutory right to cancel an order placed on fernandfog.ie, in accordance with the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013, which implement EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights in Ireland.
1. Your Right to Cancel
If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period will expire 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods.
This right applies to all products currently offered in our shop, including prints from limited editions. A limited, numbered edition is not considered goods “made to your specifications or clearly personalised” for the purposes of the Regulations, as the artwork and edition are predetermined by us and are not customised to your individual order.
2. How to Exercise Your Right to Cancel
To exercise your right to cancel, please inform us of your decision by a clear statement – for example, by letter sent by post or by email to . You may use the model cancellation form below, or the online cancellation form further down this page, but you do not have to.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

3. Effects of Cancellation
If you cancel your order, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery (excluding any supplementary costs if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to cancel.
We will use the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.
4. Returning the Goods
Please return the goods to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you inform us of your cancellation. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the 14-day period has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Please package prints securely, ideally in their original packaging, to avoid damage in transit – you are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and condition. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in return transit.
5. Faulty or Damaged Items
The right to cancel described above is separate from, and in addition to, your statutory rights if an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described. Please see our Terms and Conditions for details of your statutory guarantee rights, which are not limited by the 14-day cancellation period described on this page. If your item arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally with a photo of the damage.
